Excellent artwork as always!

Have you ever considered doing a video tutorial for purchase via digital download? Daarken's tutorial are quite popular, but even though I've learned quite a lot of them in terms of technique, every artist has their unique approach, which is best deciphered when seeing said artist at work. As many people may have told you, your works retain a certain "unfinished", deliberately "messy" charm that make them that much more artistic and expressive than the myriad of commercial illustrations out there. I'd love to see the exact algorhythm through which you achieve it. I'm certain more many other people would be too ;)

I apologize for the numerous grammatical errors in the above comment. Typing replies late at night tends to butcher my written speech :)

Kekai, that 'HEAL' is badass dude! Love it, great update.

Man, do you do any traditional sketches on your sketchbook? I'd like to see some sketchwork of such dudes if you have any :)

Archexecutor> I've asked Kekai a couple of times about a video, guess time will tell! Patience is a great virtue, for now I just admire the finished masterwork - though he has a workshop on Imagine FX which is SICK!!! Check it out, was on issue March '09

(maybe idrawgirls can setup a video tutorial with you cake??)

Your no.1 fan

I really enjoy your compositions. Did you learn composition on your own or did you have some instruction? Andrew Jones mentioned teaching you. Wasn't sure how much that played into your approach.

Wooooo more spikey goodness! I have an overly obsessive fondness of spikes and no one does them quite like you! :)

On another note, where the hell do you get your badass mountainous/snowy mountain textures from? I've been searching for ages for anything similar and they're all poo! Unless they're all hand panded, then HOLY CRAP! :D

You continue to inspire all the time, Kekai! I'd love to pick your brain on technique, or if you'd just broadcast one of these art tutorial sessions you do online! Please :)

I never cease to be absolutely blown away by your artwork. I never thought I'd ever have a "favorite artist" before... but I think you've finally secured that distinction with me. Relentlessly top notch.
