Here's is my cover for Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time eBook release. I worked on The Great Hunt, the second book in the series. It was both a honor and a pleasure to be included in this project. I have been a reading WoT since the seventh grade, and being able to a cover for a book in the series is something I never even dreamed of. Thanks again for Irene for getting me involved with this project.
Here's a couple different pics. The final cover and the initial sketch.
You can find out more over on Irene's blog and the full article with some more process shots over at the Tor website.

Beautiful cover man. I'm really excited for this series.
I'm getting a hold of the audiobooks so I can essentially read them and paint at the same time!

This is the kind of style I've always thought of when reading the books. Your vision is perfection and the execution is even better!

Great work, Kekai, as always. And it captures very well the atmosphere of the novel.

Kekai this is truly great, and what makes it more cool is the step by step, which you already know how much I appreciate. The composition is truly beautiful.
Well done for the "forever" painting, it's so cool to see how you started that 2 months ago and how you ended.
outstanding art...

Awesome. Finally those guys actually look like the Trollocs that they are supposed to be. That hautingly familiar human sense to their faces that are full of beast! :D Brilliant.

As a great fan of these books, I have to praise you for some really awesome Trollocs. I wish you made the covers for the books I have now hehe (old hard cover editions).
